Terms and Conditions

Booking fees taken for photography sessions are non-refundable except in the event MMP cancels the booking.

The session fee is due in full 1 day before your booking.  

​

48 hours notice must be given when cancelling. No guarantee can be given that a new slot will be provided.

 

Every effort will be made to provide you with the number of images listed in your package for your gallery.  Due to the nature of working with newborns and small children, this may not always be possible.  If I am unable to provide you with at least 5 unique images your session will be rescheduled however a rebooking fee may apply.

 

The client is responsible for all children during the photoshoot.  

 

If Client fails to read the supplied session information, and therefore fails to carry out required preparations prior to a newborn session, MMP will not be held responsible for any resulting reductions in quality or quantity of images supplied. 

 

MMP shall not be liable to the Client for any failure, in whole or in part, to fulfil its obligations where failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond its control, which may include (but are not limited to) equipment failure, inclement weather, illness or injury.

 

The Client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as MMP’s professional expertise and style determines. Special requests are not binding instructions although every effort is made to comply with the Client’s wishes.                                                      

MMP shall be entitled to use her judgement regarding the style and artistic input in the production of pictures. This includes but is not limited to styling, retouching and editing, poses and number of images taken.

All images are fully edited before being presented to the client.  Additional editing requests are subject to a fee of £15 per image.

MMP will not be held responsible for variances in colours or quality due to clients printing their images anywhere other than a professional print lab. 

 

Please note that once pictures have been received by Client, after 48 hours it will be automatically assumed that Client is satisfied with images.

All prices are subject to change without notice by MMP.

Upon viewing my work via my website and Instagram / Tik Tok / Facebook, you have decided to invest in my services to photograph you and your family because you are confident that I can give you the results you will cherish:

• There is no knowing what photos will be produced from this endeavour simply because this is an event in the future.

• As an artist, I reserve the right to interpret what I see artistically and how I photograph the scene. This may mean that some shots are in colour, and some are in black and white. This is my interpretation and my vision as an artist.

 

Cameras, camera phones, camcorders or any other recording equipment are NOT permitted during any session without the express permission of MMP.

 

The images that are being provided to you are licensed to you for any reason personal, including but not limited to: printing, copying, emailing, and web publishing. Your license does not include use that results in financial gain, including but not limited to: advertising, stock photography, print sale profits, or resale of any nature. Your purchase of the original files releases MMP from any liability due to loss or damage of the images, and also releases MMP from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital file, image, or photograph. You hereby grant to MMP the right to use and publish images and photographs taken at your photography session to further promote its service, including portfolio, website, display, advertisement, and editorial use, unless otherwise discussed beforehand. MMP agrees to limit the use of these images and photographs to promotional use only. MMP may revoke this license at any time and for any reason. MMP retains all copyrights to the images and derivative works thereof.

 

If you are posting any of the digital files to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram* etc.) OR if you share or use any digital files from either Instagram, Facebook or my website, you may not alter the image in any way** and you must give credit to MMP.

 

*Instagram – you may not alter the image(s) in any way by adding filters. ** You may not re-edit, crop, or remove the watermark, apply filters or alter the images in any way, doing otherwise is copyright infringement.
